For over fifty years there has been a costume shop in Wheeling, WV. For over ten years, under our current ownership, Stages has built an inventory and reputation unmatched in the region. As the business has grown, our inventory has increased through routine purchases from vendors, stock from other shops that have closed their doors and on-site fabrication. While it is impossible to provide a current, accurate catalogue of each and every costume piece and accessory we have in stock, we have attempted to provide a photo album with some of our more popular outfits. Because we have many different suppliers not every costume is exactly the same as the pictures, even within a single "theme" such as harem girl, southern bell, confederate / union soldier, flapper, gangster or Renaissance. Any one of our costuming consultants will be happy to help you select a costume, but realize that these pictures are simply examples of the many options which may, or may not be currently available. All costume orders are filled on a first come, first served basis. Please see our pricing information page, for current guidelines on reservations and special orders. In some cases, it may be possible to have a picture of a specific costume e-mailed to you, subject to availability of staff to model / photograph the costume.

Since many of our costumes are quite old and modified or hand-made for a specific show / person, standard size information might not be available, or accurate. It is important to provide exact measurements, if you cannot come into the shop to try on your selections.
